Benefits of Lizard Pose (Utthan Pristhasana).
Lizard Pose is a great stretch for the hip flexors, the hamstrings, and the quadriceps.
Start in a pushup position and bring your left foot up next to your left hand. Keeping your right foot planted.
You should be in a lunge position with your right leg off the ground.
Next bring your arms on the inside of your leg, resting on your elbows out in front of your body.
Roll the left ankle out a little (avoid ankle injury) and drop your right leg to the ground.
Continue the stretch for 60 seconds and alternate leg positions.
